Jarid Taylor

Jarid Taylor is the founder of Brandigenous and has over 15 years of experience in the industry. With a philosophy to transform the buying process by emphasizing mindfulness, sustainability, and product lifecycle, Jarid’s vision has led to fulfilling a niche in an industry which at times can be regarded as excessive or wasteful. Jarid assists customers with an outside-of-the-box approach by curating product & branding initiatives that is purposeful while differentiating themselves from the rest.

Jarid is an active member of his culture, integrating the oral teachings of his ancestors to his personal and professional realms. While Vancouver Island is home, he has travelled extensively throughout the world with family demonstrating their culture to show their traditions are alive and well.

 

Jason Taylor

Kwakwaka'wakw, Yalis

X̱wemelch'stn Territory

Jason Taylor is Brandigenous’ local representative on B.C.’s mainland. With a fast-growing foundation, Jason has excelled in spreading Brandigenous’ mission with customers both in B.C. and beyond. He also brings his experience as a traditional and contemporary artist to help create custom logos and designs.

Jason was born and raised on Vancouver Island but has made the X̱wemelch'stn community of the Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Nation in North Vancouver his home for over a decade. He and his partner Lacey are active members of the community who coach youth soccer and run a local soccer academy while raising their 2 boys, Lason and Kaleo.  

 

Jenna Lancaster

lək̓ʷəŋən Traditional Territory

Jenna Lancaster is Kwakwaka’wakw and Coast Salish
( leeyq’sun, lək̓ʷəŋən, Sḵwx̱wú7mesh) her traditional name is
?Ixc’amgilakw which loosely translates to saying she works with abalone. She was born and raised here in lək̓ʷəŋən territory.

In her spare time, Jenna beads, draws, and paints. She learned how to design by her father and through teaching herself. On top of doing art, she is going to be working in community as a Child and Youth Care practitioner.


With Brandigenous, Jenna carries out customer relations, order processing, and contributes her artistic skills to our contemporary and Indigenous graphics design.

 

Melissa Gerbrecht

lək̓ʷəŋən Traditional Territory

Melissa prefers to wear "many hats" and manages Brandigenous' operations and bookkeeping. She also assists our Team with sales and client service on a regular basis. 

Born in Victoria, B.C., Melissa grew up living all over Canada with her military family, and settled back in the West Coast permanently nearing adulthood. Outside of work, she enjoys gardening, travelling, and spending time with family.
